The short version: Have fun, play fair on the leaderboards, and understand that the game is provided as it is.

Using the game

Simply Golf is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. If you got it from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement applies along with these terms. If the two disagree, Apple's agreement wins. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your use of the store.

Ads and Remove Ads

The free version of the game shows banner ads and, now and then, full-screen ads. Once a day you can also choose to watch an ad for two extra tries at the Daily Solo Challenge. The ads are provided by Google, and the products they advertise aren't ours, so we aren't responsible for them.

Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that turns the banner and full-screen ads off for good. The optional ad for extra tries stays available, and only plays if you ask for it. It's tied to the Apple Account or Google Account that bought it, so it comes back on your other devices on the same platform or after reinstalling (use Restore Purchases in Settings if it doesn't). A purchase on iPhone or iPad doesn't carry over to Android, or the other way round. Apple and Google handle payments and refunds under their own store policies. If a purchase is refunded, ads come back.

Playing fair

Please don't cheat, hack or tamper with the game to change your scores or achievements. We may hide or remove scores from the leaderboard that look like they weren't earned in normal play, and stop an account from posting. Your nickname appears on a public leaderboard, so keep it fit for all ages.

Our stuff

The game, its art, music and code belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License. Courses you share by seed are yours to share with anyone.

No warranty

The game and this website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we can't promise the game will be free of bugs, or that every course is fair. Sometimes the wind just isn't on your side.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential losses from using the game or this website. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game changes. The new version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to play means you accept it.
